 In my life's journey, I have discovered many things about myself that absolutely amazes me! When I think of empowerment, I think of a few things that I never knew I could do or a few obstacles that I did not think I could overcome. 

Empowerment to me is to believe in one’s self to:

• Be innovative

• To tackle the most difficult of challenges

• To overcome hurts in life

• To believe in your ability to thrive and persevere

• To always use your last accomplishment as a benchmark to do things better

• To believe that you are the prize and you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you!
